Courtney King serves as Project Manager at The Opportunity Project, facilitating youth-serving partnerships throughout the city. Through her work, Courtney promotes experiential learning opportunities as well as social and emotional learning in Tulsa youth programming. Prior to joining the team at The Opp, Courtney completed Teach For America, empowering students through Reading as an 8th grade English teacher in Dallas Independent School District.
Courtney received her bachelor’s degree studying Foreign Affairs at the University of Virginia and obtained a master’s degree in Education from Southern Methodist University. Courtney’s passion for empowering students, advancing educational equity, and creating opportunities for all children to thrive fuels her work at The Opp.
