Stephanie Gaines is the Associate Director of Network Quality at The Opportunity Project, where she has built a coaching network to support the continuous quality improvement cycle of youth programs. She connects learning partner organizations with the Opp’s Coaches–Impact Advisors–who support organizations in building a high-quality programming framework that is centered on a data culture, positive youth development, and infusing social and emotional learning into out-of-school time. Over the past ten years, Stephanie has dedicated her career to education in Tulsa. Beginning in Student Services at Tulsa Community College, she continued her work in education through serving as a Teach for America corps member in Tulsa, where she taught first grade. After grad school, Stephanie launched the 21st Century Community Learning Center grant program at Walt Whitman Elementary School as a program director for the education non-profit Youth At Heart. As an Opp Team member, Stephanie continues to ensure high-quality learning experiences for all youth, especially those who are underrepresented and underserved. Her driving force is working to ensure every child has access to high-quality education and experiential learning, and feels safe and supported in their learning environment.
