A Tulsa native and Booker T. alumna, Amy has deep roots in Tulsa’s community and education landscape. Her strategic leadership and passion for equity fuels her work at The Opp.
As Deputy Director, Amy oversees grantmaking and development, data, and systems-building opportunities with national partners. Her love of expanded learning was born from her own youth camp experiences and Jewish education, grew as she raised her own kids by volunteering to lead OST offerings at their TPS elementary, and with her systems-building work at The Opp.
Amy holds a BS in non-profit services from OU and has worked in both nonprofit program and research roles. She is most proud of her two children who are becoming successful young adults due in large part to the experiences and relationships they were fortunate to have outside of the school day.
